Mike Savino and I were in Toronto last week for the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (#WPC12). It was an active 3 days in a great city, where we learned a lot about the technology we work with (Windows, Office, SharePoint, Dynamics, SQL Server, .NET, and Phone). We also spent some quality time with clients, partners, and old friends.
Highlights included 2 great meals: 1) a client dinner at Nota Bene, which was fantastic and happened to coincide with my birthday, and 2) a whole-left-side-of-the-menu affair at Lee, which was delish!. We also met with our partners at Sitecore to work on some joint go-to market strategies and shore up our relationship.
As usual, the conference itself was a little overwhelming. Every year, I remind myself to plan my agenda in advance, and every year I wind up altering plans because sessions get oversubscribed, or obligations back home draw my attention. But no biggie–it’s still worth it to attend.
Next year in Houston!
